April 26, 2018 Compatriot John Braisted of the Lincoln Chapter presented the Sons of the American Revolution JROTC medal and certificate to Cadet Carter Dowding at Lincoln Northeast High-school. In 2015 his older brother Emery Dowding received the same award. Congratulations to Carter and Dowding family!
Due to weather, we regret to announce that we are cancelling the State Meeting for today.
This is a reminder that the Nebraska State Society Sons of the American Revolution will hold the annual Spring Meeting at 2 P.M. Sunday 15 April 2018 at Mahoney State Park located at the Ashland exit of I-80.
The Meeting will be on the second floor of the Lodge, in the Cedar room. The first portion of the meeting is open to visitors and the NESSAR Eagle Scout Scholarship award will be presented as well as a First Responder/Fire Safety Award given. The second half of the meeting is open to members only and will be a business meeting. Please plan to attend as this is your chance to have input on what happens in YOUR State Society.
There will be a meal available for purchase at Caddy’s Parkside Grille, a new food vendor in the Lodge. The meal will begin a 1 P.M. reservations are not needed.
Feb. 17, 2018 the Lincoln Chapter hosted their 6th annual American Heritage Dinner. The evening was event filled, educational and a roaring success!
